The Rio - a cute and sporty classic from BIRKENSTOCK. This functional style features an adjustable back-strap and the signature comfort and support of the contoured cork/latex footbed. A special multi-coloured foil with a rainbow-like appearance is placed on top of the microfiber upper to make this shoe. The pattern has drawn inspiration from elaborate stone floor mosaics found in temples along the Silk Road.

The original BIRKENSTOCK footbed, is inspired by the natural imprint of a foot in the sand. Its anatomical shape ideally supports the natural walking action of your foot.
