Boston Leather Shearling - Black

Caring for Suede Leather

Suede has a soft, brushed texture, so it needs protection and regular brushing.

• Protect: before first wear, spray with the Birkenstock Footbed and Shoe Protector and let it dry fully.
• Clean: when the shoes are dry, brush in one direction with the Birkenstock Suede Brush. Rub out scuffs and shiny spots with the Birkenstock Suede Eraser.
• Deeper clean: use the Birkenstock Footbed and Shoe Cleaner, then air dry away from heat and brush the nap back up.
• All in one: the Birkenstock Suede Leather Shoe Care Pack has everything you need.

Caring for the Footbed

Your Birkenstock footbed moulds to your foot over time, and some darkening is a natural part of wear.

• Brush: suede linings absorb foot oils and sweat, which get trapped as the suede compacts. Brush firmly with the Birkenstock Suede Brush to lift the suede and lightly reduce the imprint. Use the Birkenstock Suede Eraser for stubborn marks.
• Refresh: after wear, mist with ECCO Refresh Spray and let it dry overnight.
• Reseal the cork: when the cork edge looks dull or dry, apply the Birkenstock Cork Sealer and Protector.
• All in one: the Birkenstock Footbed Shoe Care Pack has everything you need.
• Avoid: soaking, direct sun and high heat.
