Finding your perfect fit
A few of our favourite fitting tips to get the most out of your Birks:
Check your outline. When standing on the footbed, you want a small rim of footbed visible around your entire foot, your toes shouldn't touch the front edge, and your heel should sit snugly in the heel cup.
Regular or narrow? Birkenstocks come in two width fittings. Regular suits medium to wider feet, while narrow suits slimmer feet. Not sure which you are? Pop into one of our stores and we'll happily fit you properly, it makes all the difference.
Straps snug, not tight. Your foot should be held gently onto the footbed with a little room for natural movement. If you can see your foot bulging over the sides or the straps are leaving marks, loosen off a notch.
Wear them in gradually. Start with shorter wears around the house and build up. That cork footbed will mould to you beautifully, good things take time!
