I love it but visually it looks a touch clunky. I also got a blister but this may be because it was humid and I have quite wide feet. Generally a beautiful show.

These are awesome! I have been a Birks fan for decades and these are the latest pair to add to my collection.

Excellent service- staff phoned me as a new customer to notify me that postage was running a bit slower than usual, but it was swift postage of really lovely footwear. This style looks incredible with the smooth leather and yellow gold hardware. Cannes runs a bit stiffer in the sole than the cork bed, and felt a tiny bit narrower than usual, so I’ve sized up by one size. Very easy refunds for wrong size, making it easy and quick to re-purchase. Economical packing, which I appreciate - but the box arrived battered due to the lean packaging, which concerned me with my initial return (I picked my usual size but the firmer leather meant I had to exchange for the next size up), as I wasn’t sure if the box would make the return trip safely. Swift email replies, which is awesome! Please bring in more of these Exquisite Footbed / all leather luxury versions with the back strap, which are nearly impossible to get in Australia (and which Birkenstock Australia and Bstore don’t even stock). The Cannes is pricey for me, but it is next-level comfort, whilst looking sharp and elegant (when it cools, I also wear mine with black, fine knit ankle socks), meaning I bought a second pair for when this one wears out. Very happy with my purchase and the service!

Awesome shoes and very very comfortable! It does transfer dye onto your skin but hopefully it will stop after wearing them in.
